Speaker Placement

As with all speakers, optimal placement is key to overall sound balance. The lower bass frequencies are especially influence by placement.

For the most bass and loudest sound in general place the speaker on the floor in a corner of the room. This will give you significantly more bass than when freestanding.

Another great place for optimal sound is in the corner on a bench.

You might find there is too much bass with speaker right in the corner, if so just move it out gradually until the desired balance is found.

When a corner is not available place the speaker on the floor or bench top with its back against a wall, leave 1 – 2 inches of space behind the speaker.

Positioned like this on a bench top with the listener directly in front of the speaker/s will give the best overall sound quality.

When outdoors the same methods can be applied using any solid objects, Stones, trees, embankments etc.

The placement techniques listed above apply to apply to every speaker and are often overlooked. You will be amazed at how much of a difference this can make!

Experiment with your speaker placement and see what suits you best! 😊
